Project 4

I began my project with a guitar beat from slayer. I repeated the loop three times, which is the length of my project. Next, I made a kick drum pattern and added it throughout the project. I then used the cut off frequency found in the fruity filter on my guitar loop. After this, I used 3xOsc on my drum loop.

Project 2

I began my project with a cool techno beat that caught my attention right away. I used this beat throughout the entirety of my project. Next, I added a steady drum beat. I did this by using the piano roll and chopping one long sound into multiple shorter sounds. Then I added a piano clip that i felt went well with the techno beat. I played the entire piano beat twice then ended it, but continued with the drums and techno. After one more repetition of the drums, I ended that as well and finished the song with the techno beat that I began with.

Project 3

I first started my loop with a drum pattern from FPC. I chose it because it was a simple beat that i could match with many other sounds. I also added a kick and snare drum pattern. I next chose a piano pattern from SimSynth. I felt that this pattern went together with my drum beat. After I put the two beats together, I used SimSynth to change the sounds. I used the SVF emphasis tool on the first half of the loop. For the second half, I used the SVF cut tool. I also changed the volume level throughout the loop. For the first half, i kept the volume steady. When the secon half of the loop began, I had the volume gradually go down until there was no volume at all.

Project 1

For my project, I started the loop simple by using two different kick drum patterns. In the middle, I picked up the beat by throwing in a lot of different sounds and patterns. For this I used the same kick drums as pattern one to keep the same beat. I added the other drum beats to make the rhythm more upbeat. The last pattern i used was not as busy as the second pattern but had more going on than the first pattern. I used a simple pattern again and kept the same beat throughout the entire loop. To close everything, I repeated portions of the second and last patterns.
